Pradeep Kariyawasam is a Sri Lankan corporate executive and sportsmen. Chairman, National Savings Bank, he was the former chairman, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Limited, CEO and General Manager of Unimo Enterprise, United Motors Lanka (Ltd) and Browns Group of Companies. He is a specialist in marketing and a management consultant.[1][2]
Educated at the prestigious Royal College Colombo, he was the vice-captain of his college cricket team and played in the Royal-Thomian.[3] Kariyawasam is a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
He is married to Justice Dr Shirani Bandaranayake current Chief Justice of Sri Lanka. They have one son, Shaveen Bandaranayake Kariyawasam.
